户籍制度改革的成本与收益估算：基于广东省的数据

户籍制度改革是中国当前的一项重大议题，制度改革的财政成本和收益迫切需要得到准确的估算。从人口迁移和福利磁力的研究视角出发，本文聚焦于制度改革的社会救助福利成本与收益，在估算公式中纳人了区域福利水平差距、劳动者定居比率和福利迁移比率等数据指标进行估算。估算结果表明：现阶段制度改革的高昂财政负担和我国相对紧张的财政状况，使制度改革只能遵循渐进的方式进行，目前仍不具备立即推行全面改革的足够空间。     

Racial differences in high school dropout rates: An analysis of U.S. Metropolitan areas

In this paper, we explore the differences in high school dropout rates among white, black and Hispanic students in 275 U.S. Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in 2000. Our analysis focuses on the impact of community and labor market conditions, in hopes of providing insight into the relationship between place and educational outcomes. The explanatory power of our regression models is mixed across racial groups, performing best for whites and Hispanics. Our results also indicate that community factors – most importantly, same-race adult educational attainment in the community, teenage birth rates and residential stability – have a greater impact on dropout rates than labor market factors. Our results suggest that as education reform moves toward broad-based solutions to improve student outcomes including dropout rates, it will be increasingly important to address the structural origins of inequality outside of schools.     

论韦伯的失范思想及其理论意义

韦伯在对宗教社会学的研究中，探讨了非西方宗教当中所隐含的失范思想。韦伯在对东方印度教的阐述中，将失范视为终极道德标准的总体缺失，并强调了失范在跨文化背景研究中的重要意义。在此基础上。对失范进行了类型学分析，建构了一种失范的理想类型。韦伯在宗教社会学中既强调了某些非西方宗教教义里失范的可能性，同时也通过东西方宗教的比较，阐明了西方失范概念的特性，即西方社会规范和文化价值的总体缺失的困难性。韦伯的失范思想是对当代失范理论范畴的拓展，打开了我们理解失范的广阔视野。

关于波伏娃《第二性》的几点思考

波伏娃在《第二性》中提出了"女人不是天生的,而是后天生成的"这一著名论断,并对女性的处境、女性的价值和女性的出路进行了探讨,点出了女性作为"他者"的原因。文章试从历史维度、生物学角度、社会学角度对其观点进行阐发,以有助于学界的研究。     

地方政府支出与农村居民消费需求：基于1998-2007年省级 面板数据的经验分析

 政府支出对居民消费需求产生挤出抑或挤入效应是理论界最近关注的焦点之一。本文在理论诠释地方政府支出对农村居民消费需求的传导机制以及模型建立的理论框架下，通过建立地方政府支出与农村居民消费支出之间的个体固定效应变截距模型，运用我国31个省份1998-2007年的经验数据进行实证检验，结果表明：地方政府财政支农支出对农村居民消费具有显著的挤入效应，而转移性支出与农村居民消费的相关程度并不明显。基于理论分析和实证检验结果，本文最后针对地方政府扩大农村居民消费提出相关建议。     

Two societies, one sociology, and no theory

This article shows the declining effectiveness of the sociological classics to make sense of the dramatically changing economy and society. However, the various 'post-something' analyses of such transformations, especially the post-modern emphases on language and discourse, are also shown to be inadequate. In their place the author advocates the use of various leitmotifs to establish certain constants, in order then to be able to describe and determine various patterns of variance. The article makes various recommendations for future sociology to be empirical and both diachronically and cross-sectionally comparative in order to comprehend those dramatic changes that currently surround us as sociologists. Sociology should establish such 'constants' and worry less about being 'theory-less'.     

‘Do you want to do some arm wrestling?’: children's strategies when experiencing domestic violence and the meaning of age

The aim of this study is, by analysing children's and young people's discourses, to investigate their strategies in response to domestic violence episodes, in relation to their age. The empirical data come from individual interviews with children and young people (ages 8–20 years) who had experienced domestic violence and lived at refuges for abused women. The thematic analysis shows that the children describe a wide range of strategies before, during and after a violent episode, that all children act regardless of age and that strategies vary according not only to age but also to situation and context. The theoretical framework used is the sociology of childhood, and the analysis engages with theoretical concepts of age, agency and positioning.     

社会学的传统、危机与未来

自社会学诞生以来，它一直在为人类的社会生活寻找内在的结构、秩序以及某种方向性的意义。它的存在历史或发展历程，向我们展现了一种传统的不绝魅力与生机。社会学是现代性的科学。现代性的逻辑要求着我们，不得不去面对“社会学何为”或者“现代社会向何处去”这些必须回答的问题。从社会学的传统出发，试图对这一问题进行尝试性的回答。从中不难看出，现代社会对社会学提出了新的发展要求，社会学研究之路依然任重而道远。     

社会学视角下的高新园区社会科学发展内涵

社会发展观是社会发展理论的重要内容之一。从社会学视角出发,探究我国高新技术园区发展内涵问题,对推进园区现代化建设与社会发展意义重大而深远。因此,应以社会学、哲学与经济学中的发展理论为起点,系统探寻园区科学发展的内涵渊源;以科学发展观的时代性、实践性、协同性、人本性等为基础,合理把握园区经济、政治、文化、社会的科学发展特征;以理念强化为核心,全面认识园区科学发展对实现园区自身功能价值、解决园区经济可持续发展、协调园区社会利益的重要意义。
